A Passion for Design

From a very young age I remember making clothes for my dolls with my mum. She was always into fashion and inspired me to bring my own creativity into everything I wore. She told me that fashion was about how clothes made you feel. I was brought up before fast fashion so my love for long lasting pieces is very important. I love creating new outfits from older pieces from my wardrobe and I always have a needle and thread to hand.
After studying ceramic design in college my love for fashion kept coming into my work and I began to create headpieces. My love for bridal began after working in a bridal shop during college. This sparked something inside me and my bridal headpieces were born.
My work is based on my love for design, pattern and form.
I take inspiration from other art forms such as architecture, ceramics, Japanese culture and vintage Hollywood style. I like to create pieces which are simple, elegant and unique. I have a strong focus on attention to detail and believe every product should have the perfect finish. In addition to this I believe that my pieces are not just about the product but the experience which they provide. I put a lot of love into making each piece and hope the customer gets the same enjoyment from wearing my designs as I do creating them.
